Our sock monkeys fit in perfectly with the hotel's "true love" credo! Behind the Maimous is a mother-daughter team. Parthena Joannidou, over 80 years young, lovingly makes the monkeys from discarded socks. Daughter Anastasia takes care of sales. The unique pieces moved in with us in 2019 and have been delighting young and old ever since. The sock monkeys greet our guests in the hotel rooms, a few of them would rather explore the wide world and are waiting for new owners in the hotel store.
