Sports & exercise
Where to exercise during your stay
You want to build exercise into your stay in Lucerne? No problem. Both the Central Swiss Alps as well as the city offer a variety of ways to be physically active.
Bicycles
With our two simple, restored bicycles, you can get to know Lucerne on the saddle. They can be reserved at reception, where you can also get tips for short bike tours. If our bikes have already been ridden out, you can hire bikes from the "nextbike" rental service. The nearest nextbike station is just opposite the Beau Séjour.
Boule
The quai in the direction of Beau Séjour is a small hotspot for boules players. On pleasant evenings from spring to fall, the place is bustling with activity. If you want to join them, you can borrow a boules set for free at the reception.
Swimming
From our doorstep, all you have to do is cross the street and Lake Lucerne is at your feet. A few steps more and you are in the cool water. To sunbathe on Carl Spitteler field, we provide you with free deck chairs and, on request, bath towels.
Yoga
In the beautiful LIV lab yoga studio near Lucerne's Old Town, yoga is practiced seven days a week. Classes are taught in German or English and are suitable for beginners as well as advanced yoga students. With the Lucerne Guest Card you get a 20% discount on individual admission.
