Lucerne-based edition bücherlese presents its new fall program. In conversation with publisher Judith Kaufmann, we talk about the art of making books in a small publishing house. Authors Theres Roth-Hunkeler and Pius Strassmann read from their works and talk to Julia Knapp about topics such as ageing and fantasy. Peter Zemp provides musical accents.

The name AION is the program for Christian Berger's compositions. The guitarist, oud player and composer has been on the road with this project in various formations for over twenty years. The music moves between different traditions. Soundscapes from the Orient, classical chamber music and groovy rhythmic sounds combine to create a warm, colorful ensemble sound. The lovingly arranged themes are catchy and are developed and interwoven live with the freedom of improvisation.
